Tout près de Gallician

You must visit Le Cailar, (10 mins) a typical Camargue village with strong taurine traditions, Vergèze (15 mins) source of the famous Perrier, ‘Le centre de découverte du scmandre’ (5 mins) is a wonderful natural reserve with walking tracks through the local paysage.

In our village, Gallician (walking distance 500 metres) there is a boulangerie for your morning croissants and baguette, a small supermarket, 2 local bars/restaurants (very simple fresh food). Gallician is also a ‘halte nautique’ along the canal ‘Rhône to Sète’. In Vauvert (6 kilometres), there are two very well stocked large supermarkets, restaurants and twice weekly markets.

If you are feeling sportive, we have a few Bicycles at your disposal, or maybe you prefer to bring your own.

Discover the Camargue also on Horseback as proposed by the many local equestrian centres.
Another original way to visit the Petite Camargue is by ‘Caleche’ (open horse-drawn carriage).

Birdwatching is a definite MUST!
Conoeing/Kayak on the Petit Rhône is very popular (15 mins).

Golf at La Grande Motte and Nîmes within 30 mins.
The kilometres of magnificent sandy Beaches of the Mediterranean, wind surfing, sailing, kite surfing etc.

Under the fascinating sunny blue skies of the Camargue!
